“The government said Thursday that 68,000 guns recovered by Mexican authorities in the past five years have been traced back to the United States. The flood of tens of thousands of weapons underscores complaints from Mexico that the U.S. is responsible for arming the drug cartels plaguing its southern neighbor. Six years of violence between warring cartels have killed more than 47,000 people in Mexico”, Pete Yost of Associated Press writes.

“The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives released its latest data covering 2007 through 2011. According to ATF, many of the guns seized in Mexico and submitted to ATF for tracing were recovered at the scenes of cartel shootings while others were seized in raids on illegal arms caches. All the recovered weapons were suspected of being used in crimes in Mexico. At an April 2 North American summit in Washington, Mexican President Felipe Calderon said the U.S. government has not done enough to stop the flow of assault weapons and other guns from the U.S. to Mexico. Calderon credited President Barack Obama with making an effort to reduce the gun traffic, but said Obama faces “internal problems ... from a political point of view””, Yost continues.

“There is Republican opposition in Congress and broad opposition from Republicans and gun-rights advocates elsewhere to a new assault weapons ban or other curbs on gun sales. The Obama administration says it is working to tighten inspections of border checkpoints in the absence of an assault rifle ban that expired before Obama took office. For more than a year, ATF has been reeling from accusations that some of its agents in Arizona were ordered by superiors to step aside rather than intercept illicit loads of weapons headed for Mexico”, he finishes.

One great reason for this many a guns being present in the bustling culturally rich country of Mexico would be that it aids in the fruition of a lot of crimes there. Apart from that, the problem of poverty is also one great contributing factor; of course when you can’t seem to find meat, you’d settle on how to become a vegetarian as vegetables are much cheaper. But with such meat loving people as the Mexicans, they are finding it quite hard to stick to such a foreign yet equally healthy diet fad.

Of course, stealing and drug abuse are already bad things themselves, but the existence of such dangerous firearms prove some things: that people are now in bad need of healthy foods to eat and that they don’t have enough money to supply their shopping of healthy ingredients in their healthy food list.  Because of such dire need for something so precious, even local townsfolk are finding it endearing to have a little protection and some easy words using their firearms, hence the outpour of firearms hailed from the US.

 
Food – undeniably, it is one of the most indispensable factors of our whole lives. When we’re hungry, we eat. When we’re tired and weary, we eat. When we’re stressed, we eat. In every waking minute, we eat. Eating is the one who’s basically responsible for providing us the energy that we need to be able to push through the day! Apart from that, it also provides with the necessary and required vitamins and nutrients that we need for us to be able to grow the fit and glowing person we all deserve to be. But of course, we eat because of the carnival of flavors that truly astounds and sates many people.

Definitely, you must have learned about the importance of food the moment your mother gave birth to you (though probably it was up until you’re 3 when you realized it consciously). Anyhow, what we generally glean form food would be the nourishment that it provides to our body…that and the fact that anyone just enjoys the different tastes and palates of the food we favor. But surely, you must have had a couple of your not-so-likeable food right? Well, I personally have, but I won’t be sharing it for I don’t want to appear as a picky person!

Moving on with the importance of food, I should also probably emphasize the importance of opting for healthy foods to eat rather than rushing on your food choices. By now, I’m sure you’ve been given the background of having two food groups: good to eat, and bad to your health. Of course, it’s natural that you should choose the healthy ones rather than those that can’t do you any good! But what makes it hard to do so would be the fact that these not-so-good stuff to eat are quite on the appealing side, both on the appearance and the savory taste itself.

Rather than letting your tongue get the best of you, why not let your brain do the roper thinking when it comes to your food choices? I don’t know about the whole lot of you, but I’m quite sure that food included in the healthy food list will surely be more than enough to nourish your body and help you go, grow, and glow at your best.

Of course, there are a lot of variations on healthy food choices, but being a vegetarian is among the most famous and preferred choices. But if you don’t like the sound of that, then how about a low carb diet plan? Just the right amount of meat or fish with a hefty load of fruits and veggies …and you’re sure to be on the road towards healthy eating while saving your picky tongue!

 
Hollywood. Almost any American – whether they differ in cultural backgrounds, color, and even origin – anyone would die to become part of the entertainment scene in Hollywood. When you take a look at most articles featuring the top most influential people in the world, there’s a good 75 % chance that a Hollywood star (or celebrities in general) will be among the top 10 or top 5. This just goes to say that these Hollywood personalities, whether they may be small, plump, voluptuous, beautiful, pretty, young, old, and thousands and thousands of adjectives and more – all of them are equally persuasive towards the masses in their own varied ways.

Whenever a celebrity endorses something, a product, a diet fad, a fashion brand, and really almost anything, the company endorsed can just assume for them to work on the general mass, or even at some towns at the very least. Why can these Hollywood stars do this, you ask? Well, people have had this certain mindset that those they see on TV are the “to-idol” ones and that they are the personifications of what beauty and other desirable characteristic they wish to have is.

Because of these stars’ immense popularity towards fans and normal tele-viewers alike, a lot of the trends of today has got something t do with them; and when it comes to their personal list on healthy foods, people are just dying to know how they attained such gloriously dubbed bodies.

Contrary to popular belief, not all of these celebrities utilize illegal drugs and slimming chemicals to achieve their much coveted bodies; just like what some fitness and health experts say, they follow this one rule – that is to only choose healthy foods to eat, combined with the right amount of exercise.

Truly, they must always ensure that they look their best; after all, it is their looks that they use to make for their living. No one would want to see someone on TV that’s not nice to look at, right? But more than looking good, they must actually eat good food and have a healthy body for that very matter. What most of them do is they get the wrong impression and that they would sacrifice their health just to become slim or fit. With the existence of diet fads like a low carb diet plan, they can assure their selves that their body can be at its best without actually losing the healthy stuffs.
 
For the past 10 years, poverty has raked its way through the competition and has become the most troubling dilemma of all. Naturally, this is so as the very word ‘poverty’ itself is an understatement, being it the very summary of the masses’ problems. When you’re poor, you tend to come across a webbed string of unfortunate events: you can’t have adequate access to basic necessities, you most likely can’t pursue your dreams, you can’t pretty much provide your family with the best life and the simplest yet most basic – you can’t have access to any healthy foods to eat at all!

Surely, anyone else faces problems with concerns to the first three, but with the fact of being withheld the innate privilege to munch on these healthy foods to eat, you may as well have been banned the right to breathe air or the right to enjoy life at its fullest. And how can I say that, you ask? Well of course, we all know that eating is among the simple pleasures in life, don’t you think so too?

When eating, we open up ourselves to a lot of beauty! For example when you eat grapes (grapes is after all, one of my favorite fruits!),; when you do so and you do it by munching on several lush globes of grapes all at the same time, it almost feels like you’re savoring a carnival of flavors! The fact that these purple globes would burst in your mouth and surprise you with their pungent yet sweet taste is enough to put anyone’s distressed mind at ease.

Of course I’m not saying that you stick with an all-grapes diet plan to replace your low carb diet plan! Although I must say, having a low carb diet plan is already a great decision as this certain diet is among the healthiest and most effective way to have a rather healthy physique. What I’m saying here is that you should be able to know and pinpoint foods that are under the healthy category.

Lastly, be sure that you make an effort to really, really know your personal healthy grocery list. By doing this, you must be able to know the exact places where healthy ingredients can be found at half their original price! Surely, a place like that exists, what you just need to do is ask around, maybe from people who truly value the idea of eating healthy.
